BINGLEY TOURS:
I was born in England and moved to South Africa 10 years ago. Having visited over 30 different
countries, nothing can compare with the indigenous beauty of the Western Cape.
I am a Registered Western Cape Tour Guide and a voluntary Table Mountain guide(taking people
on free guided tours on the top of the mountain). My partner and I have 2 Hi-line Quantum 13 seater
buses and 2 large luggage trailers. The vehicles are fully comprehensively insured for passenger liability.
My passion and enthusiasm for this country ensures my clients the best of everything Cape Town
has to offer.
A typical tour to Cape Point, apart from the natural beauty, includes a trip to Seal Island, the famous
Chapman's Peak Drive, a stop at the animal stone statue manufacturers, a visit to the Ostrich farm as
well as entering Cape Point Nature Reserve to visit The Cape of Good Hope. Along the way, see the
baboons and visit the Penguin Colony at the famous Boulders Beach in Simonstown, and on the way
back a drive through the Constantia Wine Valley.
A trip to Inverdoorn Game Reserve takes you through the spectacular Hex River Valley with its unique,
rugged mountain ranges, through the Worcester Wine Valley to see the best there is to offer in animal
viewing in the Western Cape. Experience from walking with the giraffes to close encounters with the cheetahs.
Overnight staying gives you a feeling of the tranquility of the Karoo. En route back through the famous
Bainskloof Pass...an experience not to be missed!
Along the scenic False Bay coastline to Hermanus..,whale watching(Sept-Nov)...beautiful fynbos, visit to
Grotto Beach, lunch at Bientang Cave(extra charge), visit to Pottery workshop, famous for its unique animal
designs and return over Sir Lowry's Pass or go Shark Cage Diving along same route via Hermanus to
Gansbaai.
My wine tours will journey you through the Cape's finest international wineries set in the most beautiful
and spectacular mountains and valleys, surrounding Franschhoek and Stellenbosch with its wonderful
Cape Dutch Architecture. Wine tours are not about drinking wine all day, but rather to embrace the whole
experience of tasting fine wines and cheeses and an opportunity for the wine connoisseur to learn about
the wine-making process and the latest award-winning wines.Stopping for lunch has to be at the famous
'La Petite Femme or Dieu Donne Restaurant, with exquisite food and breathtaking views overlooking the
Franschhoek Valley and fine vineyards.
Last but not least...Township Tours includes a visit to cultural centre to enhance your understanding of
uniqueness of the African Culture.
Personalized tours can be arranged to suit your needs.
My aim is to give you a unique experience of the Western Cape that will make you want to come back for
more. Please join me in my passion for the Western Cape!
